Warranty Policy
1. Introduction
Purch Electronics is committed to delivering high-quality electronic products and exceptional customer service. This policy outlines the warranty terms for Purch Electronics purchases.
2. Warranty Coverage
Purch Electronics guarantees that its products are free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the applicable warranty period.
Covered Items
- Manufacturing defects
- Hardware faults (non-user-caused)
- Internal component failures
- Battery defects
- Inverter defects from materials/workmanship under normal use
Not Covered
- Physical damage (cracked screens, dents, broken ports)
- Water or liquid damage
- Power surge or improper electrical connection damage
- Unauthorized repairs, tampering, or modifications
- Software issues unrelated to hardware defects
- Inverter accessories
Cosmetic issues like scratches, stains, rust, mold, abrasions, or wear do not constitute defects unless they affect functionality.
3. Warranty Period
Standard warranty periods:
- Home Electronics: 12–24 months (varies by category)
- Batteries: 6 months
- Inverters: 5 years
The warranty period begins on the original date of purchase as indicated on the receipt or invoice.
4. Warranty Service Process
Customers must:
- Present the original purchase receipt/invoice
- Submit the product to an authorized Purch service center
- Describe the issue clearly
- Report the defect within one (1) month of discovering the fault
Inverter Requirements
- Submit a fault report using Purch's repair request template
- Provide technical and system information
- Purch may coordinate with the original installer
Purch may conduct on-site inspections to confirm warranty coverage.
5. Repair or Replacement Terms
Upon a confirmed valid warranty defect, Purch will:
- Repair at no cost, or
- Replace with a new/refurbished unit of equal value, or
- Provide store credit if repair/replacement isn't feasible
Inverters may be resolved through software updates or configuration adjustments.
Important Notes
- Warranty service may take 7–21 business days, depending on parts availability
- Replacement products retain the original item's remaining warranty
6. Warranty Void Conditions
Warranty becomes void if:
- Product opened, tampered with, or repaired by unauthorized personnel
- Damage from misuse, negligence, or accidents
- Used for commercial or non-recommended purposes
- Payment incomplete
- Serial number altered, removed, or unreadable
- Installation was not started within one (1) month or completed within three (3) months from purchase
- Product relocated without written approval
Inverter-Specific Void Conditions
- Noncompliance with user manuals or usage/transportation requirements
- Improper installation, wiring, storage, or handling
- Incompatible electrical parameters
- Installation errors
- Failure to report faults within 4 weeks
- Refusal to install firmware updates
- Denial of system access for inspection
- Six consecutive months or more of inactivity
- Non-original packaging during transport
- Abnormal external conditions (lightning, floods, fire, voltage surges)
- Force majeure or third-party damage
- Intentional damage or misuse
- Unauthorized relocation/reinstallation
7. Service Beyond Warranty Period
After-sales service may be offered at a fee for out-of-warranty products. All associated costs (including parts, labor, transportation, and logistics) shall be borne by the customer. Purch is not obligated to provide such service.
8. Limitation of Liability
Purch is not liable for:
- Data, software, or personal information loss
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Third-party accessory or attachment damage
9. Usage and Transportation Requirements (Inverters)
Operating Environment
- Temperature: -20°C to 50°C (derating above 45°C)
- Humidity: 0%–95% RH
- Altitude: below 3000m
- Free from dust, corrosive gases, flammable materials
- Stable, level ground away from water and heat
Storage
- Short-term: -20°C to 45°C
- Long-term: 0°C to 35°C
- Controlled humidity
Transportation
- Use original packaging
- No stacking
- Battery state of charge: 25%–40%
- Protection against vibration/impact
Installation/Use
- Correct voltage (AC: 400V, DC: up to 1000V)
- Proper grounding (below 1 Ohm)
- Avoid overcharging, over-discharging, overheating
- Correct wiring procedures
- No unauthorized disassembly
- Dry powder fire extinguishers only
Noncompliance may void warranty.
10. Dispute Resolution
Both parties may agree to conduct a joint test or engage a mutually approved third-party testing institution. Testing methods are jointly determined. The buyer initially pays testing fees. If the product is defective, Purch Electronics will reimburse testing and transportation costs and fulfill warranty obligations.
